SF Climate Week: Celebrating Community & Innovation

Who else is feeling recharged after SF Climate Week? Pila took last week as an opportunity to build community and celebrate innovation – a.k.a show off our prototypes and new showroom at informal.

We partnered with our friends at Quilt and Impulse to demo some incredible home energy innovations, and were treated to a surprise appearance of the TELO Trucks prototype.

Later in the week Cole Ashman talked about the importance of including multi-family homes and renters in the clean energy transition at an event hosted by Moon Five, on a panel alongside Vince Romanin Phillip Kobernick Paige Mueller Vanessa Warheit Julio Garcia and Stephan Luna Ng

Our biggest takeaway? Companies that focus on solving a real, immediate problem for their customers can succeed even in times when policy isn’t going our way. We were inspired by the work being done by companies like Gradient and Moon Five that offer innovative products that improve quality of life for apartment and condo-dwellers.

Thanks to our partners and colleagues who made it a memorable week (and to the Quilt team for sharing a couple of great photos!).
